Isabel Roman is a senior at Northeastern University studying Health Science. After taking Dr. Wamai's introduction to global health class in fall 2023, Isabel became interested in working with ACCIH to expand her global health experience. She traveled to Baringo county in the summer of 2024 to conduct a self proposed research study on the relationship between nutritional status and visceral leishmaniasis at Chemolingot sub-county hospital.
