Jordan De La Hunt recently earned her Master of Science in Global Health Equity from the Medical College of Wisconsin. As part of the program, she completed a global health internship with ACCIH, where she was immersed in Kenyan culture and contributed to a variety of public health initiatives. During her time in Kenya, Jordanparticipated in community nutrition outreaches, observed health education on visceral leishmaniasis, and collaborated with organizations such as Action Against Hunger and the Kenyan Red Cross. This experience provided her with hands-on insight into the challenges and complexities of public health systems in rural Kenya.
